Why did you make Green Plastic Radiohead?
I started out with this site in March of 1997, not really thinking that I'd keep it very long. Back then there were only a handful of "quality" Radiohead sites out there and I fancied the giants like Lift and Planet Telex. I guess the only real answer is that I am captured by Radiohead's music and I wanted to make my own tribute to them.

How come you never replied to my e-mail or question?
I do enjoy receiving e-mails from people concerning my site or about Radiohead but it would be impossible to reply to each and every one. I tend not to answer questions like "What does the guy say at the end of the 'Just' video" or "Is Thom gay or what?" I do try and make a point to reply to e-mails and comments promptly but please forgive me if I don't or if it takes a while. I am one person running this monster of a site.

Are you trying to be the official Radiohead website?
No, this is an unofficial site and I'm proud of it.

Do you know Radiohead? Do you hang out with them?
Actually I have never met Radiohead. I have been to a few shows. Maybe I'll meet them soon.

How often is Green Plastic updated?

I try to update the site and answer e-mails every day but I find it difficult to do that. I try to have an outside life and if you want the truth, I hate sitting inside in front of a computer when I can be outside enjoying the sun. Whenever there is breaking news, I usually update the site immediately.

What do you use to make all those graphics?
My main program of choice for making graphics would be Photoshop 5.5. I also use Macromedia Fireworks 3. For HTML editing, I use Macromedia Dreamweaver 3.

Does Radiohead know about your site?
I have no idea. =)

Why is it that everytime I'm notified that Green Plastic is updated, nothing is updated? Is it because I'm on AOL?
Yes it is. AOL caches on the server side, making it different than other service providers. To remedy your situation, increase your browser's cache size.

Where do you get your information from?
Basically I search the internet looking at press releases and articles. I also receive a lot of news from sources that I believe to be reliable.

Is everything on your site copyrighted?
Yes, all original material that I have made is mine and cannot be used anywhere else without permission. I am very big on graphic design and layout and nothing bugs me more than seeing another Radiohead site rip me off by using my designs and modifying my source code on their own site. Please understand that I am only talking about original material that I have created. All photos in the picture galleries and all articles are not mine and can be used freely on your own site. Even the design style is okay to use. Thanks for understanding.

So what's up with Injektilo*?
The webmaster of the Radiohead site Injektilo*, Ed Peers, decided to call it quits maintaining his wonderful site. He had the option of deleting everything he had or passing it on to someone else. He and I talked about it and it was decided that I would integrate Injektilo* with Green Plastic. He has no responsibilties with either of the sites now, but remains one of the creaters listed on the main page.

Ah geez... Why all the banner ads?
This is a delicate subject with many, I know. In 1999, Green Plastic joined up with Musicfans.com, a network of fan sites. One of the perks of being with Musicfans is that I don't have to pay for the incredibly expensive server space that Green Plastic needs to run. Since the market and economy is down, banner ads are helping Musicfans pay that cost. I hate them as much as you do... they are an eyesore and believe me, as soon as I can take them down, I will. Thanks for understanding.
